Dentistry: Dental Bonding
Dental bonding is a great procedure for people with damaged teeth. Dental bonding is a relatively minor procedure. Usually there is no anesthesia involved, and the procedure can be performed in one visit. Cosmetic dentists often recommend bonding to make teeth appear whiter and more even. It is basically a resin like material that is layered over the front of the teeth.
Dental appearance can be improved through various means. Procedures can range from simple teeth whitening, to more complicated dental implants. If you have cracked, chipped, discolored, misshapen, or otherwise unsightly problems with your teeth, consider cosmetic dentistry. Within a few visits, you can have the smile you have always wanted.
Dental Bonding Makes Teeth Beautiful
No one should ever suffer embarrassment when they smile. However, if you are one of the millions of people that have aesthetic problems with their teeth, then you understand. It is true that some cultures value dental appearance more than others. However, in this modern age, beautiful teeth can be appreciated throughout the world. If you have dental stains, you can simply brighten teeth at home or professionally. However, if the structure and composite of your teeth is damaged, you may need more extensive dental work.
If your teeth are mildly damaged, a simple bonding procedure may be perfect. A dentist will remove the top layer of your tooth enamel, using a phosphoric acid. They will then apply the dental bonding material, and subject it to intense light so it hardens. The tooth is then shaped and polished to look as natural as possible.
